Bison leather

I have a client with a completely redone Landrover Defender with a Bison leather interior. Any suggestions?
it is new just looking for ideas

Just a guess, but bison is similar to cow, so..... Myself I would treat it as if it were leather....

I know you are more careful than taking an unknowing answer, so I will wait and see others answers as well.

Leather is leather - it depends on what they have done to the finish on the leather which will denote how it should be treated.
Do a moisture test to see if the leather is absorbent
If the leather absorbs moisture it is more on the Aniline side and should be treated with specialist Aniline cleaning products (these are much more effective these days as technology has moved on with these cleaners over the past couple of years)
If the leather does not absorb moisture then it is a coated (finished) leather and should be cared for accordingly - ie: water based foam cleaners and maintenance products.
Either type of leather should be protected but if it is an Aniline style leather this would be crucial to help prevent staining
