bird poop on vinyl stripe

I have white stripes on my 2010 camaro and today got bombed

by some good for nothing blueberry eating bird.

Washed off the droppings and was left with light red stains on the stripes.

Any ideas how to get the stains out??

Thanks

Mark

I guess any good soap will work. However most people don't seem to realize that 303 is also a cleaner as well as a protectant. I've taken various dirt and stains off exterior rubber and vinyl with it, and you protect it from the next bomb while you're at it. If the surface is thoroughly impregnated with 303 the dirt will get less of a foothold. Rubber especially.

At first I apply it every week whether it needs it or not, maybe 5 times, until it just beads up on the trim and won't accept another drop. After this the rubber around the windows stays like new right through the winter.

I love that stuff. :2thumbs:

That's because it's not nor does 303 hold it out to be. Vinylex is a mild cleaner in addition to being a protectant, but not 303.

Oops, so it does... ( or doesn't). I know I read it somewhere, on some board. Funny thing is I've been using it that way for about a year and it does work. Just the other day I had some polish residue embedded in the gasket around the sunroof and 303 took it right out. :nixweiss
