Bird dropping damage repaired. Before/after

This dropping has etched into the paint and the primer is exposed.. Bad problem.. I filled numerous times with paint and then wet sanded and polished.. Its not perfect, but much better.

Quite good results. It's a real challenge to do repairs like this on metallic paint. I'd say you did a great job. Perhaps the only thing you could do to improve it would be blending with an airbrush.



BTW, are you sure this was a bird bomb and not a drop of blood from Alien??? That was some major damage.
