bird bomb removal -- ouch!

I'm trying to remove a bird bomb from a friends silver 04 Acura RSX. He thinks the bomb was left on for a week or more while on vacation. He didn't have a good coat of wax. I clayed the spot then hit it with all 3 levels of Griot's polishes with my PC. It feels like the spot is slightly raised where the damage happened. The results were marginal at best. Any suggestions? I will try to post pictures later for some reason I'm having trouble uploading them.

if u tried all the polished out chance are its not going anywhere unless u wetsand. and even wetsanding depends on how deep the birdbomn etched into the paint. so all in all i guess hell have to live with it or repaint.

i have on many occasions notice they tend to fade or go away on their own.

u got me?!?
