"Bird-Bomb" proof sealant or wax to add to my current lineup

I'm currently washing with ONR (awesome product BTW :bow) and using DG 105 topped with AW on both of our cars (WhiteGold Jetta and Silver Mazda 3). Both cars are in good shape paint-wise with no major problems and I'd like to keep them that way. The problem is that, all of a sudden, every bird in the neighborhood has decided to use our cars for target practice:hairpull We haven't had this problem before but it got me to thinking about what I'm using.

Both cars are daily drivers that are parked outside during the day M-F and garaged the rest of the time. Is there anything I can add to my routine that will help protect the surface as much as possible. Would a good sealant between the DG 105 and AW provide that extra measure of protection? I'm also open to changing products if needed to get the most protection as possible while still looking good.

BB guns work well, but in all seriousness Nanoskin would be a great solution. The nano coatings on the market will offer some of the best protection available.

Opti-Seal gives excellent bird bomb protection. I have a customer with a dark blue Range Rover that is parked under trees at his girlfriend's house. I wash it once a week so if birds crap on it the day after I wash it, the dookie sits there for 6 more days. Not once has any bird bomb left any damage that couldn't be quickly buzzed out with Optimum Hyper Polish or #205 and a polishing pad-which leaves me to believe any marks are in the Opti-Seal and not making it down to the clear itself.

Did you use 601 before 105? Or try 501 for greater protection. Use AW after every wash.

I haven't used 601 before, should I be? All I do is wash, 105 then AW. Would 501 replace the 105?

I've been impressed with the ONR and their cleaner so maybe the Opti-Seal is worth a try. Would I put it down after the 105 and then use AW?

The Nanoskin sounds very interesting. Where can I find out more/get it?

I wouldn't use AW until the next wash (after applying OS) but it would be fine over it.

So, I would apply the 105 then the OS, right? Then after the 1st wash I could add the AW. Would the Optimum Car Wax work like the AW if I decided to use it?

When it comes to conventional LSPs, I've experienced incredible bird-bomb protection from (layered) KSG and FK1000P. "Incredible" as in, I basically don't worry about any etching and I just leave the [stuff] on there until the next regularly scheduled wash (but of course YMMV and all bird-bombs aren't created equal).

Try using R/A after the wash to remove the OptiSeal then look .. then see if there is etcing.

Damage from bird crap is totally dependent on the bird .. its diet and how acidic it is. I have had some sit for a weekand not an issue , I have had a few that etched after I drove 3 blocks to my house. I have had it etch on 11 layers of Z2 Zaino and multi layers of KSG and both never sat more than an hour.

Myself I don't think it does any damage after it is dry. No different that salt or caustic soda, no moisture, no activity. Thing is if its hot out it drys faster but heat also increases its chemical reaction.
