Bird bomb!!! help!

hi all,

my friend has a black 2001 mercedes clk 430. bird crap landed on his trunk and he didnt wipe it off until two weeks passed by. when he called me to come and check out his trunk, the bird crap already went through the clear coat i believe. wetting a microfiber and wiping it didnt help, of course it wouldnt.

now to me i will need to use a porter cable and probably poorboys 2.5 but i wanted to know if the poorboys bird bomb will get rid of this??

i cant really do a detail on his car because he works like crazy and have no time lately. he kinda wants a fast easy fix. i checked out autogeek and premium auto care but i didnt find the poorboys bird bomb fix product so if thats what i need, please provide a good online store link.

if my thoughts are right and polishing with a PC with poorboys 2.5 is the right way to go, then let me know too. thanks, im not a detailing expert.

poorboys bs remover is just for removal of the product. What you are seeing is a b bomb etched into the paint. This happens rather quickly if not removed. I woudl reccomend to clean the area free off dust and the bird bomb and then you meguiars scratch x on the area with a little elbow grease. I think with 15 minutes you could get rid of or great improve the look of the bird bomb. So give it a shot before you pull out the pc.

with the sun fully out bird poop can dry in 5 minutes. once it etched its really hard to remove. one thing ive noticed tho is that they tend to fade. atleast to a point where its not that noticeable.
