Those applicator/dispensor things are available at all your bed and bath stores, in the dept where they sell all the little kitchen tools and such.

It has a sponge on one end. The handle is a little tube that has a removeable cap that you pour product into.

I use one to clean dishes. Just pour some Blue Dawn into the handle and go to town.

I just wanted to take some time to say thanks to David and Chris. These guys took the time out of their schedules to help with the correction of my car, a 2004 IR BMW M3, and to answer the barrage of questions I had regarding polishing in general and my own techniques in particular. I really learned a lot from them, and David was even nice enough to loan me some more aggressive pads and his "OG PC," even though he's unaware that I'm a kleptomaniac and 7-time convicted felon. Still, nice guy.

And Chris was super helpful in answering any question I had, while providing the days entertainment. That dude is a riot and I see why David likes working with him.

Anyway, the only pics I have are some after the 105 step but if the sun ever shines again over the NC piedmont, I'll take some sun shots.

I couldn't be happier with how the car came out and I definitely couldn't have done it without the help of these two. Thanks again.

Always awesome to see forum members take time out of there busy life to help other members out.Big props to all three of you.Car looks awesome also

Thanks for the kind words guys. I can't overstate how much of a help it is to have two experienced detailers show you in person how to modify your techniques, teach you new tricks, etc. After a year of fumbling around, doing minor work for friends and fam, it was great to have first-hand advice right there for the asking. Hopefully I didn't annoy the guys too much, but at least they had something to laugh at, watching me blow up a brand new 4" orange pad in under a minute!

Anyway, since it seems Charlotte, NC is destined to live in darkness until sometime next year, here are some overcast, gloomy, getting-ready-to-rain shots.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and for all the help so far.

Okay... here are a couple quick photos of the M, me honing my technique for capturing swirls/RIDS with my Harbor Freight LED light, and last but not least... the carnage.

Last, but not least.... The carnage. (at the hands of Mike)

Here, try this 4" Hi-Gloss pad on the OGPC...

Moments later...

"Heyy guys, uhhh.... So am I using too much pressure? What just happened?"

All within the matters of 60 seconds, an old PC 7424, M105 and some determination to get those swirls out :D
Mike was a good sport about it. An educational experience to say the least.

Sweet shine on that rocket sled mikenap! Now the tough part is keeping it that way.

Love the black outs.

Thanks Puckman, I was never a fan of the chrome on red anyway!

And Chris, thanks for sharing those pics, especially that last one!
