Big Thanks to weekendwarrior and Michakaveli

I just wanted to take some time to say thanks to David and Chris. These guys took the time out of their schedules to help with the correction of my car, a 2004 IR BMW M3, and to answer the barrage of questions I had regarding polishing in general and my own techniques in particular. I really learned a lot from them, and David was even nice enough to loan me some more aggressive pads and his "OG PC," even though he's unaware that I'm a kleptomaniac and 7-time convicted felon. Still, nice guy.

And Chris was super helpful in answering any question I had, while providing the days entertainment. That dude is a riot and I see why David likes working with him.

Anyway, the only pics I have are some after the 105 step but if the sun ever shines again over the NC piedmont, I'll take some sun shots.

I couldn't be happier with how the car came out and I definitely couldn't have done it without the help of these two. Thanks again.

Edit: These pics are after 205, and LSP'd with CMW. No sun in Charlotte, NC for the forseeable future, so this is the best I can do for now.

Sweet car - looks really nice!! Dave & Chris are awsome and really know their stuff. Glad you got to work with them.

Okay... here are a couple quick photos of the M, me honing my technique for capturing swirls/RIDS with my Harbor Freight LED light, and last but not least... the carnage.

Me learning how to capture paint defects with the assistance of my LED flashlight.

Last, but not least.... The carnage. (at the hands of Mike)

Here, try this 4" Hi-Gloss pad on the OGPC...

Moments later...

"Heyy guys, uhhh.... So am I using too much pressure? What just happened?"

All within the matters of 60 seconds, an old PC 7424, M105 and some determination to get those swirls out :D
Mike was a good sport about it. An educational experience to say the least.
