Who here does polishing on the big trucks? I might have a company that wants us to do alot of trucks. Right now all I know they want the rims polished. What products and equipment do you use. I have polished motorcycle wheels and frames before but I want as much info as possible.

i used a high speed drill i would use a plug in, or if you use a cordless you better have at least 4 batteries and a 18 volt with some flitz and a mother balls works great

I also use a drill when I care for some rigs I do every weekend. I use Mother's chrome and aluminum polish and it works great. Polishing big rigs will be tedious but the pay makes up for it.;) With trucks, depending on the type of use they are for (asphalt company, delivery, quarry, etc.), may accumulate a ton of dirt, and grime on the wheels and therefore may need to be thoroughly cleaned prior to polishing with a very good wheel cleaner (safe for aluminum). Doing this will allow the wheels, etc. to polish out to an almost "chrome" like look. If you are going to be caring for the trucks on a steady basis, I would recommend applying a sealant after polishing to protect and for easy cleaning during future services. I'm not sure if you gave a quote yet, but another BIG recommendation to offer is do not charge low for doing this service. You will go through a ton of product and alot of labor.
