This guy, Jason Rubin is a known scammer and a fraud. He claims to have a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University. he tried to scam us on www.ls1gto.com. We caught him bad, he was stripped of his sponsorship and exposed as a fraud. Want to see the picture he posted of his PhD? Here it is:



Tell me, does that look real? Tell me this as well, would Carnegie Mellon University misspell the word "recommendation" ? He has a product he calls "Pro Concours" wax. he advertises it as an 81% pure white carnuba wax. he lures people in by comparing it to Zymol and other concours waxes. Truth is, all his wax is is some Chemical Guys 5050 wax that he melts out, adds a color and repackages as his own. He is also a criminal. He has been arrested for many things, among them, DUI, false imprisonment, burglary, and the list goes on. I can post copies of his police record, it is public record. The guy claims to be a chemical engineer with a PhD. A PhD with misspelled words on it? Do not put stock in ANYTHING this guy says, he is a scammer, a thief and a fraud. The guy has been stripped of his sponsorship and put on "global ignore" on www.ls1gto.com. He got a few of us for hundreds of dollars, don't let him dupe any of you! Feel free to ask around on our site about this piece of xxxx. It is all there, the guy is a loser.(end quote)


I believe this person also posts under the name POLARIS on LS2.com

This is the same guy who "reverse engineered" Zaino and claimed it was acrylic floor wax LOL
 
Maybe I missed it, but does this guy have a web page where he is trying to sell his stuff or is it just through the forums?

Great... now I have to keep on the lookout for people with PhD's :lol:

He had a website but I believe it has been shut down. He also posted at AUTOPIA under the name JWR5060(now banned). He alledgedly has also used a variety of other screen names on other websites.

Troy here is some more info so you can find out if he is a member here as well.

The above info was taken from a link at detailingbliss.com which is from JAXWAX website which lists him as a distributor.

If you want to delete the above info I understand.

There was a guy, just got outed on another board. Think of a car almost as quick off the line as a rexie, and a group of mods that clean up after themselves. Anyway the guy claimed to have a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon U and was charging ~$50 per ounce for his special personal recipe carnuba.

A pro detailer on that other site noted his stuff was about as good as Pinnacle Souveran but not as good as the best Zymol. And they noticed "recommend" is mis-spelled on his PhD. The website is down today, but you might visit http://pure-concours.com/ instead of the .net from which he ran his business. Caveat Emptor!!

A Doctor of Philosophy, with a degree in Chemical Engineering...

I am suprised when he made that degree of his in power point, it should have underlined the word recommendation in red as a spelling error.
