Best Wheel And Tire Cleaner

I have polycast wheels on my car and was wondering what's the safest thing for them, I want to clean them and the tires. What's the best thing to use?

If you keep on top of wheels often enough, all you will need is car wash.

I am attracted to the endorsement by a tire manufacturer the Michelin cleaner has. First time I ever saw a product officially endorsed by a tire manufacturer. It's very good it has a neutral pH too.

A wheel cleaner endorsed by wheel manufacturers is the P21s wheel cleaner ( there are a few other as well).

These endorsements ,for what they're worth, make me feel more at ease about the products.

I would agree with Bill D.

I would say best OTC cleaner by far is Eagle One A2Z. I t is absolutely incredible. It works as good as P21S but I think its Ph is acidic. I think Ph6 if i remember correctly.

Another endorsement is BBS wheels for Meguiar's #36.

The question is a relative one. How dirty are the wheels? If they're always "clean" then car wash soap is fine. Dress them with a coat of a durable wax like Collinite or a sealant like the Klasse twins and you'll just need the car wash soap.

If they're dirty and you need an over the counter cleaner, then EO A2Z is excellent.

As far as mail order, P21s gel is excellent. I love Detailer's Pride at Autogeek. I buy it by the gallon.

Regarding tire cleaner, I like Castrol APC, Power Purple APC, Costco APC or EFHI - all diluted 1:1. I usually stick with the cheapest APC and dilute 1:1. I stay away from Westley's.
