Best way to protect Xterra bumpers?

Hello,

I came across this site yesterday and was blown away by how great it is. I just picked up a my first new car, a black xterra, and wanted to ask what might be the best way to protect the plastic bumpers on the car? I'm also totaly new at this car care thing but am trying to learn good habits.

I've already picked up some Wolfgang sealant and Souveran spray wax, but was wonder if I should just use that over the bumpers or would a product like 303 or PB Natural Look work better for that type of material.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

First off, welcome! Secondly, congrats on the new purchase!

Now the PB NL and the 303 should work fine on the plastic bumper and trim. But I recommend to use PB Trim Restorer! Best trim dressing I have used so far!

Welcome to the group:howdy

For the trim I agree with Bigs, I really like the Poorboys NL although I am sure the 303 would be fine. I don't think you would want to apply a sealent or a wax as it (may) discolor the plastic.

Welcome to the site and I will also toss my two cents in on the TR from PB...the application for this is to apply to the clean trim, using a foam pad....then buff with a dry towel...that will keep in from running if it gets wet and make it even looking...you could then apply some NL or 303 the same way...I do sometimes....another trim product that I like is Stoners trim shine...spray on let set then buff....after you are done with the trim...use your QD spray on a towel to wipe any excess off the painted areas

I used TR on my Xterra's trim before I sold it.
You might try OS or ZCS or Ultima too. I hv been using those lately on my plastic trim with success.

Also, PB Pro Polish works extremely well on the smooth plastic on the front grill (for cleaning).
