Waterspots come in many flavors. If it is just mineral buildup, you could try vinegar or one of the dedicated products from Pinnacle or Chemical Guys. If it has etched in, then polishing will be required.

Depending...I'd try Rain-X® X-treme Clean™.
Some folks use CLR and it works for them.
