best way to avoid water spots

long story short my truck sits out all day long rain or shine so naturally it is getting bad spots all over it. what are some ways or products to help this from happening so much?

keep up on waxing the vehicle. As long as there is adequate protection on the vehicle cleaning up the spots shouldn't be to bad. The problem is if there is no wax and you just let it get dumped on then the sun comes out and bakes the water on . . . . . if that process repeats a ton of times before you get to it then that could be a issue.

Some folks might say to find a wax or sealant that sheets water rather then having the water bead up and sit on the vehicle.

which products sheets instead of beading? from what i read tight beading take place first then it becomes sheeting.

Optimum Opti Seal would be best as far as sheeting goes. Might be able to put down a coat of wax or a sealant and top it with some Optimum Opti Coat for maximum protection:

check it out here:
