Vehicle Description

Here is your opportunity to own the ULTIMATE SLEEPER with over 1,100 HP built by some of the finest craftsmen in the country.

As HOT ROD magazine calls it "SUCKER BET" November 2006 issue. This car was chosen 1 of the 10 best cars of HOT ROD 2006

This car ran the HOT ROD power tour 2006 1,500 mile + without incident, Well with the exception of that nice officer in Florida that thought the car may be a little too fast for his town, and then came back to run a low 10 sec @ over 140 MPH

This car went to HOT ROD DRAG WEEK 1,600 + miles and had average time of 9.30

Nice one. I love sleepers, though I'd have to imagine you'd hear this one coming.

I used to work with a guy who had a '74 Vega and decided to start building it. Rather than slap a V8 in it like so many others did, he went with a twin turbo Buick V6 engine, 4-speed tranny and 2-speed rear-end, dual exhaust with cut-outs, and a bunch of other stuff like fiberglass body panels. He used to have loads of fun with that thing. To the casual passerby, it looked and sounded relatively stock, at least until his flipped open the cut-outs and revved the turbos into action.

Sleeper for sure!

No way I'm driving a 9.30 car without a cage. :nervous2:

Look at the link I posted. It goes into a lot more detail and has a lot of pics. There is a very clever roll cage and even a chute.

But I think the sleeper gives itself away when you hear it coming. LOL

Gotta admit that it's some pretty slick work to build up that car. :up

The roll cage is there, and well done, it's the bench seat that I don't

think is gonna help if a problem arises.

It looks to still be available since it didn't meet the reserve......

Being a fellow HP junky... I can really appreciate that. W2W is a great company... I vaguely remember reading a write up on that car when it was being built.

I don't like sleepers for the most part. Who cares if it's a sleeper unless you are trying to win money street racing? I want something that looks good.
