Best sealant to use on chrome plated wheels?

Hi,

I was wondering everyone's opinion on the best, longest lasting, sealant that can be used on chrome plated wheels?

Thanks as always!

I don't have any chromed wheels, but multiple layers of KSG work great for me on other chromed items. FK1000P seems to work well too but I don't have as much experience with it.

all the ones mentioned will work well, also collinite 845, and 3x pb's wheel sealant works well as well.

Optimum Opti coat hands down!

okay, your right opti coating is by far the best thing i've ever tried on wheels. one minor detail is that is not available to the general public.

Personally, I dont think 845 holds up as well on chrome. Ive used it on my running boards and rims with a very short lived success.

I wonder how KAIO would hold up.

I do use opti-seal on chrome rims and I like the look and the ease for brake dust removal, dust seems to just slide off. I re-coat the rims with opti-seal about every six to eight weeks.

Easy product to use and it seems to increase the shine to me.

Used by itself KAIO won't last long at all. Top it with something.

... KSG states that it's used is only for painted surfaces. According to the information.

I've used KSG on all sorts of non-painted surfaces (including chrome) for many years. It works fine. I bet that info is either CYA (in case somebody tries something weird) or else a way for them to sell other products in addition.
