Best Sealant/ Finishs For The New All Black Mercury Marauder

I've been Very Satisfied with ZAINO on my Black Lexus SC 430, and believe that Lexus's Paint is very well matched up for it, as I found ZYMOL to be for Black BMW's, but am confused as to which will work best with FMC's Black Paints.

My new '03 Mercury Marauder is coated with Tons of Black Paint, and will be out in the Mid-West Summer Sun a great deal, as I'll use it a my Business Car for close to 25,000 miles a year.

From your combined experiences out there, for FMC's Black (Clear Coat?) Paints, which Premium Wax or Pollimer will give me the deepest, Wettest looking Finish, and not wash off after every other Car Wash?

I would think that Klasse or Zaino would be a perfect choice, and the upkeep would be minimal compared to traditional waxes.

You could still put a wax topper (over Klasse, not Zaino) to bring additional warmth and depth.

Blackfire would also be a choice, but you should search on each of these options and see what's best. There's tons of information on all 3.

HELLO! Welcome to the forum!:)

I would just stick with the Z, I use it on all our cars- show and daily driver.

Good to see another from Indiana here!:wavey

After reading the Excellant and quite "Detailed" article written by David W. Bowen herein on the steps to follow for a "Show Car Finish", I've placed an Order from AUTOPIA for KLASSE'S "ALL-IN-ONE CLEANER', & "SEALANT GLAZE", as well as "PINNACLE SOVERIEGN FINISH WAX", along with their Car Wash and Spritzer Enhancer Products.

The New 'Rauder should be in Mid-June, and with 302 HP, 310 ft-lbs. of Torque, 0-60 in under 6 Seconds, and 149 MPH Speedometer, these Products should stay on the Car's Black Clear Coat Finish better than most, at the "Top End".

Hopefully, one of "Indiana's Finest" would be prompted to pause for a moment, and return to my open Driver's Window after presenting me with a "Speed Excessive To Posted Limits" Citation and , leaning into the Car ever so slightly to the point that you hear that Ominous "Holster Leather Squeek", as he whispers in my ear: "Nice 'Wet Look' on your Black Sled dude! With all those mutilpe layers of 'KLASSE' and 'PINNACLE' on it, my Laser Beam kept sliding off of you, Took me several attempts to get a lock on you, and even then the Radar Gun's Displayed Speed of your Vehicle kept rapidly sliding backwards to Lower Speeds, before I could pull the 'Set" trigger. You've earned a 'Discounted Speed Citation", for outwitting out Radar Gun's Speed Computor, but you know that we won't do that. Otherwise, try and have a Great Day Sir!
