So you've got a black car you've busted your butt on, and finished with Souveran paste wax. What do you use to maintain it between washes? Assuming you use a California Duster first, which quick detailer would you choose?
I use Aquawax to give my car some extra gloss between waxings. Meg's Final Inspection is more of a cleaner, won't give you a whole lot of gloss. I know a lot of people also like FK425.
Over Souveran, I would have to say Crystal Mist, without a doubt. It's half QD/half booster wax and it's brilliant over Souveran, or any other carnauba for that matter. I wouldn't go with either of the Z sprays, but the others you listed are also fine.... just not quite on the same level as CM.
Yeah I've been leaning towards Crystal Mist because it gets lots of rave reviews on here and it's also by Pinnacle (like Souveran) so they're meant to go together. However I realized a hole in my product line-up (I'm just starting the Autopia-inspired Phase II Big-Bucks Spending Spree) so I wanted to get a clear decision. I did do a lot of searching on here first, hence the source of my options... but the information was scattered and the purpose not always consistent, making it hard to compare. So I figured a poll would help me and maybe others.
I meant to have an "Other" item but I was already maxed out at 8 items.
I haven't tackle this yet actually... I've got some stuff in, some still yet to arrive, and some stuff (like the PC itself) still yet to order once my spending account recovers.
