Hmmm...just got some scratch x, it brightened ok but didn't really get at the scratch, AIO greatly reduced the appearance for me.
 
I've used Scratch-X maybe a half dozen times and it has never worked really well for me. I'm been using DACP by hand lately for minor scratches - like under the door handles.
 
I use Eagle One Scratch Remover / Ultra fine polish for areas such as below door handles. It takes a little time to get problems corrected but it does an excelent job. :cool:
 
For extremely light scratches I just applied with a foam pad, wiped until dry then buffed. looked much batter
 
In my experience, Einszett's products work the best by hand. Not sure if it's because it contains silicone (unlike the other paint-safe products like 3M & Meguairs), but hand-applying Paint Polish on a black car did a great job of eliminating/filling swirls without leaving any excessive marring.
 
Scratch X? Arrgh! That is some very coarse stuff! So is Turbo Cut. They are almost identical in my book. But not something I use often on light scratches. I save them for the "big dog" damage.



I use finer, more controlled abrasives like 3M Finesse It II, followed by 3M Swirl Mark Remover for fine scratches.



AIO is certainly on the other end of the spectrum from Scratch X! Apples and Oranges!
 
I find Scratch X to be hardly effective at all. Doesn't seem as abrasive as you say to me. The 3m fine cut rubbing compound made more of a dent in them to me. Very interesting differences in experiences with products.

I like the 3M Fine Cut RC very much. It's a much more "consistant" product. 3M makes the best compounds on the market. Hands down.



I find it very close in nature to Scratch X but not as effective either because of it's inconsistant nature.
 
Recently I've been finding myself using one then the other in a sequence. Usually wind up using four products or so just to improve a scratch by hand and erase parts of it.
