Best Polish/Protection for Brightwork?

My XKR has the polished aluminum around the window frame. Although the car is nearly new it easily gets water spots etched in. What are the best polishes and protectants to keep it from staining so easily?
 

If its polished aluminum I would suggest something like P21S polishing soap, then using Collinite Metal Wax # 850 or BF metal sealant to protect it.
 
I just got some P21S polishing soap. It's a great product. I just don't know why I waited so long to try it out. After seeing Todd's thread, It did a fantastic job on my kitchen sink :)
 
Yes the P21S product does wonders on metal and the products that Troy has mention is ones that I would use.
