Best Polish Combo for black Porsche 997

I plan on doing a polish this weekend and i'd like to know which pad combo/polish would work the best. I have the following products/pads.



Menzerna P085rd

menzerna 106ff

Menzerna SIP

Megs 105

yellow, orange, white, green, blue ccs pads



PC or Makita rotary.



I'm more comfortable with the pc but I do have a rotary. I've never had great sucess and removing swirls.
 
Without pics it's hard to know the level of correction needed. FYI, here's a before and after on a section of my black 997. Due to the deeper scratches near the tail light, I needed to use SIP. The lighter marring responded to 106FA via LC white pad and Metabo rotary. I did a finishing pass with 85RD via blue LC pad--again on the Metabo.

On the door, I only needed 106FA (again white pad, then blue pad with 85RD)

again no right answer. Every car is different. On softer paint 1500 down to 1000 or 900 will work great with those polishes. But like today, I was at 2200 RPM's with SIP and 106FA on rock hard audi paint
 
Apply at 700 rpm, increase to 1100, then 1500, and come back down to about 900 to finish for SIP. For 85RD generally the same. (These are approximations that correspond to "1", "2", etc on the speed control) FWIW, don't think I've ever gone above 3+.

On metallic basalt black I have used 106ff w/ green pad then to Po85rd with red pad then PBBH with the yellow finishing pad. My car is a garage queen and sees limited miles, although it had been butchered by the dealer's "delivery team".



YMMV with straight black.



The bumpers will take a lighter touch than rest of the body.



Open the engine cover and put something over the COOL engine to prevent a coating of polish dust on the engine when you do the vent slats.



I have always finished with dual action rather than rotary-never could get any black to final finish with the rotary to my satisfaction.
