Best Place to get a PC

If you do a search I think a lot of people ended up with Coastal Tool. As for pads I think the same threads would give you that info.

Been searching for the same for a week now and found that Costal Tool is about the cheapest you'll find ($119+S/H). If you find anyplace cheaper let us know!

Just another option, I think you can get a Dewalt random orbit buffer from Amazon for $139, it includes the velcro backing plate and free shipping. All that makes the price close.

My local Lowes has the 7336 for $109 -- it already comes with a 6" counter weight, so unless you specificaly need the 5" for something (CMA's pads are mostly 6" arn't they?) all you would need is the velcro backing pad -- $109 plus the backing pad I'm pretty sure is less than $119 + S&H, plus you don't have to wait ;)

[edit] er, actualy, maybe not for most people...I live in a state with no sales tax.

Just got my 7424 from Coastal tool for $119. Bonus kit includes velcro backing plate and counter weight. The autopian discount ($4) is over, they called me like 15 minutes after I placed my order over the web.

I'm ordering my pads from Topoftheline. I think Lynn pointed out that they are like $1.50 cheaper there compared to CMA.

I'm in NY so got it the next day for $7.50 shipping. (Coastal is in Conn.)

Is this Mr. Zipps from the TL forum ?

I got mine on ebay for $65. I'm only going to use it a couple of times a year so I sure dont need a new one. Backing plate and pads from CMA.

I did have to spend another $6 to get the 6" counterweight....
