Best place to get a PC polisher from?

Lowes is probably the cheapest place to buy one. However, there's is the 7336 model (same as the 7424 but includes a counter weight). You'd still need to buy a backing plate and pads though.

Tropi-care has a great deal for the PC (7336) 3 pads, and a backing plate for $149.

The autopia store is also offering 15% off right now, so that might be something to look into, they have some nice kits as well.

You're better off buying the PC as a kit with backing plate and pads. I bought one on-line in January and must have spent a week trying to figure out who had the best deal, for what I wanted. If you're buying it strictly for your own use, on your car, it's a little easier. A new paint job, and you only need a couple pads for lite polish and waxing. If you need to buff out older paint, that will require more pads. I 've found it's hard to find pads locally, although automotive paint supply stores might carry them, so you end up ordering them on-line anyway.
