Though I asked about carpet shampoos on here a week ago, I never moved on it and now I may need on for tomorrow. I'm thinking of heading over to Whole Foods and purchase BioKleen ___Traffic (forgot the name). I could also make a trip to pep boys. What do you guys recommend?

The name is (drumroll please) - Biokleen Traffic Lane Cleaner.

Instead of Pep Boys, make it HD or Lowes for the Folex mentioned above.

How do you guys use Bioleen TLC? spray? brush? blot? extract? drying? etc.

I have not done much entire intiorer detailing, just some stain removal.

I have used bissell products for general and entire carpet cleaning with good results.

I have also used kids and pets with great results, stains I though would be a problem Gone!

Have to throw Zep Carpet Cleaner into the mix. A very good OTC cleaner. A gallon is like $8 at HD. Folex is my "go to" for stains.

Where can you find this OTC? I've never seen it anywhere, but I'd be interested to try it.

PM Grouse, that is who I get it from. He orders it a case at a time (4 gallons) and I buy a gallon from him. Dillution ratio is 32:1 so a gallon lasts quite a while.

Meguiars has a really good carpet cleaner called Quik Out if you want something you can pick up at Pep Boys or Walmart.

The PO mentioned "Whole foods"

I'm also liking the Zep Traffic cleaner. I haven't used it but a couple times so far, but I sprayed it on some dirty areas of our house carpet that the steam cleaner couldn't clean. Let it sit for a few minutes and lightly rubbed it with a wet sponge, sprayed it again and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then I used the steam cleaner on rinse only and it was virtually like new again.
