best OTC LSP?

I've got to detail a red 66 vette on Tuesday and I need some good LSP. The car is garage kept and covered so it won't need much. I plan on QDing then PwS, but I would like to top it w/something. Any ideas? Would the new turtle wax paste wax be good on top of the PwS or how about Megs 26?
 
Meguiar's M26 is a great wax on red. I have used it on many show car jobs in the past.
 
If you plan on immediately topping the PwS, you're not giving the sealant enough time to cure. You'll need to wait about 24 hours before you top it off. But, I don't think there is a best OTC LSP. Just like with professional products, different LSP's produce different results. You just have to find out what works best for you.
 
One that doesn't get much comment is S100 Carnauba.
It does a great job on any color I have ever used it on. Reds, Silver, Dark Blue (almost Black).
Wipe on, wipe off a panel at a time. No waiting for it to haze.
Best of all: It doesn't stain black trim!
You can get it at most any Harley shop as well as quite a few other motorcycle shops. A jar is around $15 and will probably do 30 or 40 cars.

IMHO the best last step is #476S, and yes I have seen it in paint shops here in California. I also like the Meg's NXT, although it may be aruged that it's not a true LSP I find it to work out well for me in both the shine and durability departments. I have yet to have a patse of another brand out due the 476S........ jmo!!!
 
Mothers Top Coat would be another good choice as well, as would Mother's Synwax... for future details since the red Vette was a while ago....

I'm trying out the Mark V products. I will use the DAZZLE product today on a 07' Navagator(Black). I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

BTW I have half of my hood on my Tahoe coated with Zaino Z2-pro and the other half with 476. I did this right before winter, there "both" still beading like a big chested mardygraws womens neck, lol.
 
I like the Megs #26 and i recently applied to my car, two coats today as a matter of fact.

it does stain black trim though. just like charlesw said, the S100 is a really good carnuba paste wax.

ive tried this too and it gives my car a warm glow. awesome stuff i recommend it to anyone looking for a good paste wax.
