Best LSP for silver metallic?

I have an '05 Ford Freestyle that I bought new. The finish is as clean and smooth as you'll find. My questions is: what's the best LSP for silver metallic paint to really make it pop? A carnuba or a sealant? Remember, this is not BMW or VW paint, but Ford...if that makes any difference. Thanks!

I love Ultima PGP on metallic silver, it really makes the flakes pop. I also like to hit it with some Fk 425 for an extra pop.

FK425...I'm all over that stuff, and I have yet to find a better QD. I use Opti-Seal now as an LSP...but I'm sure there's something better. I've not tried the Ultima PGP.

Hate to keep beating the drum but DWG is by far the best I've used on silver metallic. Goes on easy with a grey pad and wipes off just as easy. It gives a clarity for metallic flake that carnauba can only dream of. Very reflective, crystal clear, slick and can be layered over or under polymer sealants or carnauba wax. A little goes a loooooong way too. I like using it as a final LSP. Even has more durability than most glazes.

After using it the first time I rarely reach for the Liquid Souveran or Clearkote CMW anymore.

I apply on the hood normally after washing as I enjoy looking at the hood reflections as I drive. If Bob at Danase offered a money back guarantee he would never have to pay up.

Yeah, gotta love that FK. I get that stuff by the gallon. Give that UPGP a try one of these days. It is super easy to apply and IMO produces a very reflective, deep, wet look with less of that plastic finish of most other sealants. If you don't like it, you can always return it.

Ok, ok...the DWG description looks very appealing. Is it applied by hand or by machine? I'm assuming hand if it "melts in" that easily. Does this stuff also work on dark colors nicely, or is it mainly for light/metallic paints? I know I asked about silver, but I also have a black ford that I use P21S on...and I'm always looking for the next best thing there too.

I've tried a lot but keep going back to Glanz on silver metallics and light grey metallics.

Jeff's Werkstatt Acrilic Jett give a glossy wet look. On this pic, it is applied to every panel except the engine bonnet. It is still beading and sheeting water till now, after 2 layers. The car is a daily driver.

FK 1000P looks good also and it is still lasting after 4 months on the engine bonnet.

The picture below was taken in December 2007 I think. Sorry about the wiper getting into the shot.

i was NOT impressed with os for the record

I'm assuming you are referring to Opti-Seal. I too was not impressed with it. The whole wipe on with no buffing required is appealing, but have found that although it does produce a nice slick finish when applied and does seem to enhance the look of the paint, I found that the last vehicle I used it on with nothing applied as a topper lost all the slickness and had no beading after the first wash. This led me to believe that all of the OS was just washed away. I seem to have the same durability issues with Poli-Seal as well. So far, nothing compares to the Collinite 476S that I currently use in terms of durability and looks imo.

I get plenty of durability and shine from Opti-Seal alone or Opti-Seal with Optimum Car Wax.

Here's one with Opti-Seal and Optimum Car Wax...about a month after Optimum Car Wax was applied.

Here's another one with just Opti-Seal after 3 months...which is the longest I have gone with out applying something else to my car.
