Best all around general purpose cleaner?

I was looking on CMA's website and saw that eimman or whatever it's called cleaner, and the P21S cleaner and I don't know which one to get.

I am leaning towards the Eimman Fabrik blah blah whatever it's called because it's half the price, and seems to be a little stronger.

I just need something for the door jams, grease, and to clean some dirt off the engine and the engine bay.

What do you guys suggest?

EF Hi Intensity is what it's called, and it's on sale at the Autopia store right now. I have not used it, but by all reports here, it's a great cleaner. Very strong.

I've been using Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner, with excellent results. I've cleaned everything from engines to carpets with it, without any negative results.

:) :up What he said :)

Been using EF Hi Intensity with great success. Dilute with water for lighter use. Use it for door jams, engine and tires. A squirt goes a long way. Haven't used Meg's, but I'm sure that's great too.

Only complaint with the Megs is that it only comes in a gallon and with no spray bottle.

Is the EF Hi-Intensity stronger than the Megs All Purpose Cleaner?

Meguiar's APC+ mixed at 4:1 would be like Ef Hi-Intensity mixed half and half with water.

I actually prefer the smell of Meguiar's APC+ over Ef Hi-Intensity. I still have half a gallon of the EF Hi-Intesity though. I use it for tires, really dirty rims, and wheel wells.

I prefer Meguiar's APC+ for interiors and Ef-Intensity when I need more punch on the exterior, which I find Ef lacking in cleaning interiors.

Think of it this way, a gallon will last forever if you dilute 9:1 and even more if 4:1

so all that money you save you can buy the spray bottle, i use it

in 4 gallon spray bottles.

I love both of them EF and Meg's APC+ is better for your need you can clean inside with it everything. The EF is more powerfull and great for takeing off tar and stuff. the APC+ will clean engines and everything good to . The Megs spray bottles are 1.99

www.dealergoodies.com is alot better for Meguiars stuff then CMA.

Thanks guys! I think I have a local place here where I can buy some APC. :up
Just make sure you ask for All Purpose Cleaner PLUS, because there is another Megs Detailer line cleaner without the "plus".

There is the Meguiar's APC which is a butyl cleaner. Greenish in color.

Then there is Meguiar's APC+ which is a non butyl cleaner and is blue.
