Bentley Arnage

This arnage is driven a few times a week and garaged the rest of the week. The owner thought the paint was in great condition and just wanted it sealed. So all i did was wash, clay bar and use Chemical guys Extreme Top coat sealant with 3x carnauba. Btw. this CG stuff smells amazing and is a breeeze to use and remove. Very similar to Detailers pride Premium surface shield. However prem surface shield is a slicker, but i dont know how they compare on light colored cars such as this white arnage.

I always appreciate pics of Bentely details. How was the paint quality on that one? There seems to be a lot of variation between the ones from a few years ago and more recent ones.

Yes, same owner of the ferrari. The paint definitely had orange peel but minimal compared to the amount you see today.

Oh yea, i just wanted to share that the owner had a box of zaino stuff in his garage. I was so happy to see them there. However, the ownder told me he bought them but his previous detailer never used them (i saw a bottle of turtle wax). Anyway, so i washed it, then used a Isop. spray down 2x to remove everything from the paint. Clayed, then went to work.

On the tires i tried zaino tire dressing and this stuff is the SH*t! I love this stuff. I used maybe 1 ounce for 4 tires because this stuff spreads sooo well. I let it dwell for 30 mins, then i wiped down each tire and they looked brand new, nice and dark and full of moisture. No gleam or anything; just a fresh looking set of rubbers with an extra hint of richness.

haha okay. Oh yea, i need to ask you guys a question in my next post.

ok, all along these chrome accents and surrounding the windows, there were scratches in the chrome. Kind of like swirl marks because you couldnt feel itwith your nail but u could def see them. I tried Mothers mag polish on it with a cotton applicator, and it helped it minimally. What should i do? is there anything i can do with out using some serious polishing equipment?

Interesting on the OP. Sounds like there's a lot of variation but yeah, the new ones sound the worst.

That Zaino Z-16 really *is* great, huh? It's about all I use now.

Nothing you can do for marring in the chrome. I have the same problem on the XJS, it was that way in the showroom and in 20 years I haven't found any fix for it. Once the metal is scratched, well, it's scratched. Polishing and waxing can hide a little, but you won't be able to abrade it away.
