Beginners Polish advice and hints

Just placed an order for a Flex orbital and would appreciate some polish recommendations.

I have zero experience with a buffer but consider myself capable. My first vehicle will be my 2002 dark blue metallic Ford Crew Cab. The paint is in pretty good shape with the usual hazing and a couple of light scratches on it.



What type of polish would you recommend and with what color pad?

I just spent the last two days on my 05 black Ford Supercab with Menzerna IP with white pads and followed with FP with gray pads. It turned out great!! I 'probably' could have gone with the orange pad, but decided the next time around to try a glaze to cover up the rest of the scratches. You can only see them under the halogens. I plan on using Poorboys Black Hole Glaze. Now that the swirls are gone next time around it will be.... Poorboys Black Hole Glaze followed by Poorboys World EX-P Pure Sealant and topped with Natty's Blue.
