61 views and no replies, Well please allow me to be the first to compliment you on a job that I am sure was well done!!!! You have a happy customer and happy customers are usually repeat customers. Care to share with us your process and which tools/products it took to get it looking so nice?

What did you do to it?

It looks as if you dipped it in wax ,Like a candle.

I wish I could take pictures to show the change in depth like that.

You must have a good camera.

thanks guys i used megs m105 then polish with m205 then lasp with sealent 2.0 then yellow wax it came out great and not a good camera its from my black berry phone

I don't want to be argumentative but I disagree with the posts about how great a photo this is.

It was taken to far away with hardly any sun so it reveals very little.

I'm sure it looks nice but if it had minor marring you would not know it from that photo.

When TD ask to see a photo of a fender that I had did some swirl removal I posted a photo that was not the greatest but it sure reveals the condition of the finnish.

This is a link to that post it is post #8 click on the 2 links that I put their and you can see the different between what those photos and these.

I believe BB is referring to the fact that the sun's reflection on the paint in a photo or in person reveals the true condition of the car's paint. like this one below.

or this on a finished detail.

The fact that he was happy is the important part. You'll get better and better as you practice and once you get real good you'll get faster and faster and that's when ya get in trouble. So just keep it simple and keep on reading and posting the results with pics and take any criticism as constructive and all will be good.

Yes that is what I was talking about.
We all suffer from the same thing we are better detailers than we are photographers.

I was not going to post photos but TD ask to see them.
My Black car is very hard to get a good photo if you use a flash the reflection will blind the camera and all you will see is a bright spot.

when I took the photos in that post I shut off the flash then since I had low light I set my ISO speed at 800 then used a fast shutter speed to compensate for the high ISO setting.

Black is so glossy that you always get weird reflections it is very difficult.
I was just pointing out that the photo that Nabisco posted did not really show anything other than it appears to be shiny but reveals nothing about the condition of the paint.
To start with it would be nearly impossible with a I Phone. :yikes:

I agree. Those two photos show nothing, nothing at all.
The work may be beyond compare but the pictures show squat. Not impressed.......and not that I can do any better with the pics!

Not picking on you just trying to point out how hard it is to get a good photo and pointing out that the photo you posted shows nothing about the condition of the paint.
Next time get closer and try a sun shot.

No need to get testy.

Don't sweat it. At least you tried to post a pic. Pics are very difficult to really show an honest before an after. It is so difficult to duplicate lighting and show what's really taken place. Keep it up.

Not too many People deatail like I do.

I still think That the difference in depth perception in the 1st two pictures is night & day .
Could be just my "trained professional eye for detail ", Yea thats it!

That's not detailed until you get that birds nest of wire into looms.:)

You painted the manifolds blue, in fact the whole under hood looks Ford Blue and it's a Cheby.
