Guy's, (and Gal's),

I've been reading the forum for about a year and have picked up some good tips and product advice. I found this forum after I bought a 2008 Jaguar XJ8L and wanted to keep the "Leaper" in that show room condition. With the things I have picked up here it has been fairly easy to keep it looking great all the time. A gentle wash and an app of detail spray after, then an occasional carnuba spritz makes the whole thing shine like new.

The first thing I did after I brought the car home was washed it, clay barred it, and waxed it, (the Jag sat on the dealer lot almost a year). And when I drove it back to the dealer, they complimented on how sharp the car looked. ( it looked better than when I took delivery)

I never really got into doing an in depth detail job on any of my cars before the Jag. I did however try to keep them clean and did use some of the inferior products sold at the "Auto Parts" stores but never again. Since I found Autopia I have been convinced a little more cash spent on "Quality" products produce outstanding results.

I always catch people pause, and then stare as the big cat rolls past.

So thanks to you all for helping me out.

Jeff

Love a big cat. When you want both elegance and performance there's nothing else like 'em.
