Been lurking for awhile on Autopia but detailed for the past 10 years. Saw the 3D products and thought id give em a try. Here is an after shot of our 1970 Challenger Roadster, it has showed extremely well over the past year winning countless awards and a number of magazine appearances. It was named Worlds Ultimate Mopar 2011, featured at the Playboy Mansion for Muscle Cars at the Mansion, SEMA Show feature car and was in the running for the Mothers Show Shine award but now its time to move her down the road and start on the next project.
After SEMA's she took quite a beating with all the eager hands and unfortunate wet exit from the convention center. I had to break her down and this is what the finished product of 150 hour detail produced. After days of wet sanding/compounding and polishing I applied the HD Nitro Seal Friday night around 12pm and removed it 7am the next morning. Love the way the it added just that much more depth to the paint and the wet look is phenomenal! Headed out to AZ Thursday morning to apply a couple coats of HD Poxy before she goes up for bid and ill be sure to update.
Its lot 1001 in the Barret Jackson Auction in Scottsdale this weekend and should be rolling across the block around 8:30pm. If anyone gets a chance tune in to SPEED channel and pray for big money!
