I am into buying the Metabo PE12-175 and I am planning on getting the 3M 125mm backing plate but cant find a good backing plate for small areas like 3" backing plate. Which is the best small backing plate you guys find the best for rotary?
I bought the 75mm and the 125mm Rubbish Boys backing plates from Carnaubawaxshop.co.uk. The 75mm is about $17US and the 125mm is about $25US and about $5 shipping for both. Pretty good deal if you ask me. The 75mm also came with a free pad.
Was going to get the Gloss-It backing plates at first but found shipping to Hawaii was too much as they only ship FedEx or UPS.
