Back of MF Towels ??

Just curious...what's the back of MF towels comprised of? I have some detailing towels (autogeek) and unlike the waffle weaves, the "rough fiber" feel on 1 side is NOT there on the back side. It's softer, less "rough" or abrasive.

Are these towels NOT MF on both sides? Is it a differnet type/weave? My imagination? What?

Since I change my towel frequently, I need to know if I have 4 or 8 good squares when detailing.

I have the blue mf from Autogeek, it's plush on one side. while the one I got from pakshak is plush on one side and has a much shorter nap on the other, I use the plush side on the paint while on the windows for the other .(I'm not sure if the 'rougher' side will scratch the paint ):dunno

My experience has been that either side is fine to use on paint or windows or whatever and that you'll not be able to see or feel much difference. I used to worry about it, now I don't. I just DO IT
