AZ sun fade Sealant

Hey guys,

I am wondering, for those in the dry heat part of the country, AZ, NM,TX, Las Vegas, what has worked best for you in terms of protecting your/customers paint from sun induced (UV) paint fade? I do not care much for looks, for my car will be polished with 106ff prior to any application of a sealant which should look fine. I have been thinking about Optimum's Opti-seal with weekly maintenance with opt instant detailer, Megs #21 with weekly maintenance with #135 (synthetic spray detailer) , and Zaino with weekly ONR washes I would like to be able to polish out (light polish with megs #82 or #205 depending on condition) my car 3-4 times a year and apply a new coating every time. Any experiences and recommendations would be great! So in short, I do not want my paint to fade because of the sun/UV!!!

Have a great rest of your week!

-Andrew

Meguiars 21v2 with the 135 detailer would be a good pick.

Just put a cat of 21 on about every four months maintain with 135 every three weeks and use one of there good car washes like M 62

Optimum Car wax is the only LSP that I know of that claims both UVA and UVB protection. I really like it on darker colored vehicles, it looks drippy wet.

scottwax, you have been detailing in hot TX sun for years, your rec's? thanks for the help guys

PS,

Scottwax, your thoughts on Megs #21 V.2 and opti-seal in regards to durability and paint fade resistance?...
