Autopia Pros Web Hosting

For those of you who followed the previous thread on this topic:

I have found two website systems that can be easily managed with nothing more than a browser. I put one of them up at www.myautopia.org for you to see.

If you want to login and play, the login information is:

Username: admin

Password: password

Please don't do anything stupid. I have IP logging turned on. Add a page... add a graphic... add a link.

There is a bug in the system. If you upload graphics, you have to logout (close browser) and log back in again before you can use it. Other than that, it's light, fast and easy for me to setup new accounts.

I can host a site with the name:

http://pro.autopia.org/~your_biz_name

or

http://myautopia.org/~your_biz_name

or

You can have your own URL pointed to my server. I will not host domain names for you... it's too much like work.

It will take me until next week to get my spare server setup to do this. I will host anyone who details professionally full-time or part-time.

:up Very nice david, i am going to have to do a bit of work now :( I have to see how i can migrate certain things to your servers to make my plans work. I want to have my independant pages, and your store, but a specific store set-up for my customers using direct links to your pages etc... I wonder if this is gonna work.... Anyhow Great ideas David. Thanks much again for all of the added time you are putting in for us:xyxthumbs

So that means that I could make a little page that I could have my customers come and look at previous rides I've done ect? If so, thats alot in advance.

David, what are the limitations impossed on this web site ? I would gather theres no selling of products.....Do we Link to autopia.org ?, bettercarcare ?

I get this error message:

Parse error: parse error in /home/.sites/33/site5/web/menu_set.php on line 1

Just me?

Jim

Allright, i looks like someone deleted the menu's thats all. i fixed it and everything should work fine now.

 I will eventually run out of space at photohost.org, my brother takes too long to upload pics to my site and my autopia gallery is jammed full.

It is screwed up again, heck, I probably did it! Seems like I'm modifying the master template...can I save as my own page, so I can just screw up my own stuff?

I'm a real rookie...

Jim,

When I get the server setup that I'm going to "donate" to Autopia Pros, I will create individual accounts. Until then, I simply wanted feedback about this being a OK system to use.

This is as simple as it gets. The other system I have is more complex in design and features, but it's still easy for me to setup. I don't want to create extra work for me... creating your accounts will keep be busy enough.

Oh. I'm sure it'll be fine... I'm a patient man, and one who appreciates the effort put forth!

Simple is good.

Thanks!
