For your 2006 plans, I hope you consider us Mac users and maybe PDF's as an alternative for us. :thx

Thats funny we just go am IMac G5 for the new year. Still learning how to use this thing.

I made the plunge last October and I am loving it. Best thing I did was get a subscription to Macworld to learn some in's and out's.

I did a switch two years ago and never looked back. I have no virus cares nor do I need clean adware and the like from my Mac. I also don't spend any time patching my OS and antivirus files. Darn thing never crashed even once in two years. I'm a believer and now drink the look-aid. Can't believe I waited so long. I can't believe all the anit-Mac sentiment though. Hell, I hated Windows when I used it and I can not say that about the Mac. This Mac is a joy to use.

I just did that. Now I need to spend some time learning instead of surfing here LOL

Not yet. However, my experience in computers started with Macintosh and Windows came into the mix. I still want a G5, though.

It's not the chip that matters it's the OS so I don't care if they pick up some chips from Target as long as the computer moves along at a good pace and is reliable I'm cool.:)

Will all current OS X software work with it? If so cool, if not, ouch. My only disappointment is that I bought my Imac G5 in October and this occured.
