AutoMagic? Hm, I don't think so...

I don't want do discuss about the quality of AM products, because I think that are very good for the money, But I want to tell you a story.

A month (!!) ago I bought (at least that was what I thought) some products from Automagic' s site (www.automagic.com). I paid with my credit card, no problem, and started to wait. In the meantime I sent about 5 emails without any answer about my products and the delivery time.

Finally, after a month I called and they told me that "Oh, your order was not procesed bla bla." and theres never going to be any items. !!!

So, I've waited for a month for my stuff to arrive, and thay are telling me that they are not going to send me my stuff.

As much as I like their products I think I going to Meguiar's or other detailing company.

By the way, I'm from Romania. Could this may be the problem? Why, my money are not green enough?

They were recently bought by ITW, which is a huge industrial conglomerate. This transition might have something to do with the poor customer service. Or maybe not.

I have mailed the a couple of times. No answer at all. Lousy customer service. But I do like some of their products.

What did you order?

I ordered E-Z paste wax , clay magic perfect finish kit wich incude a clay bar and a bottle of body shine, magic mist, wash and wax and some bottles and sprayers, aplicators

Yes, this is what I havein mind too. Actually, we have here an AUtomagic distribuitor too, but it's cheaper to buy from USA (!!) than from my own country. And they also don't have a complete stock.

The situation is the same here too. I don't like to pay US$60 for a clay bar, US$40 for an Edge pad, or US$145 for a foam gun.

Auto Magic is a ripoff here. I can buy FAR better products for SIGNIFICANTLY less money from the USA.

i find theres several companys that are poor to deal with...theres us guys wanting to buy thier stuff and they dont want want our buisness...how slack is that???

take your money to someone that will be glad of it!!!

Well AutoMagic is a deal of sorts in Atlanta with respect to price as its a mostly commercial line. The #49 body shine is pretty good, I used that yesterday but I have concerned about their pads, one of which blew up on me and separated after some heavy PC use. Best to stay with Lake Country.

dont know if this will help but sparkle auto sells auto magic for half off if it still available...i was going to order some items but didnt know how well there products are....

Odd! I was just checking out their site to see if there was anything about shipping restrictions.

Once you've decided to process your order, there is a drop down menu to choose your country, and Romania is on the list.

Another thing I noticed is that apparently AutoMagic does not handle the internet sales themselves. Most web pages have this on them:

Internet orders are processed by 'A Major Auto Deal'. For inquiries about your order contact them at [email protected] or call 469-995-1503.

So, while I agree you got a run around, they are using a middle man that is also responsible.

Lee, Do you buy your AM at the place by the airport? I need to get over there and get some more #49 and 777.
