Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine

Hi there,

Autoglym have a new polish out called Ultra Deep Shine.

Has anyone tried it or heard good or bad things about it?

I believe it is designed for new or dark coloured paint.

Also - does anyone have any advice as to what would be appropriate as a wax to seal in the shine? I fancied trying a wax like P21S on top. Would that work?

Thanks,

Tom

Welcome Tom

It is akin to the AG bodyshop range polish called Supreme. It is mainly filler based, ok on but not that easy off. I brought a bottle wont buy another.

I would stick to Super Resin and Extra gloss topped with P21s if you want to go down the Autoglym range

Thanks for your thoughts!

I noticed that one post that was given as a link talked about using super resin polish, then UDS then ultra gloss protection. Has anyone got a view on the quality of the outcome?

I've previously only used AG as its easily available in the UK, but this is all for a brand new car (Golf GTI) and I'd like to make sure that I keep it looking its best. What would people recommend of the UK products for a good result that will withstand the car being left outside all day, every day?

Look forward to hearing from you!

Tom

I have tried the UDS over the Resin but didnt bother with the extra gloss in the end as the results didnt look as good as they could off.

Check out the UK retailers list thread most things can be sourced over here now. I have been using the Clearkote and Poorboys stuff now for a while and have just started trying out Wolfgang.

AG SRP and Gloss are great products and you wont go wrong with them.

Welcome ShinyTom.

I've not used this product, based on reviews by both Rich and Craig (Pugoman) but for a new (silver) car, I did the following.

Clayed (Sonus grey from here)

Polished by hand using Poorboys Pro Polish

Sealed using 2 coats/layers of Carlack 68

LSP was initially Klasse SG then I tried 4 * UPP

Hope this helps - please feel free to PM me if you want sample sizes of anything.
