Autogeek DetailFest 12/10/05

It has come to our attention that many Floridian forum members would like to get together and have a detailing meet. As a forum sponsor, Max has decided to provide a place to make this happen.



Please e-mail me at [email protected] if you would like to participate, just so we get a general idea of how many people will be coming.





What will be provided:

-access to water to wash your cars

-parking spaces

-electricity (for buffers, etc)

-live internet access

-discounts at the meet



With your reserved spot, you will receive a free "1st annual Autogeek DetailFest" t-shirt



Max will order the t-shirts this week, but if anyone has any suggestions for a better name, we welcome your opinion, but for now it's a Detail Fest



Bring any of your favorite chemicals, buffers, towels, etc. that you plan on using.



You are not obligated to buy anything, but we will be having great sales for participants only. (think of how much you save on shipping )



Each car will be photographed for our "Events" page to be put on our web site.

and just to clarify, this was from a forum that autogeek sponsers. I contacted them, and even though they are not a sponser of autopia, autopians are more than welcome to come
 
Geez...a detail meet in December. I'll be lucky to see 30*F by then... :(

That's one good thing about Florida. Was able to spend six hours on Thanksgiving to clean my car in perfect weather. :D

We've got 27*F currently with freezing drizzle/ice. Rain tomorrow/Monday, and snow/wind on Tuesday. I can't wait to move to the West.
 
what an awesome idea.. you guys sure know how to enjoy it in lovely FLA !! i'm so jealous .. take lots o pics for us detailers suffering thru winter

Hey thanks for the storm system is is going to be a balmy 45 today, 56 tomorrow with some am showers and 61 on Tuesday with showers. man if I could only get those temps for a day w/o rain, the detailing I could do :drool:

Exactly , us northern folks can not be picky when it gets above 45 in November lol!

Hey wanted to say thanks also for the QEW advice, wanted to make sure I have it

down. will doing a new black Lexus Rx330 this week :xyxthumbs
