Autogeek Backing Pads

I personally have had many issues with LC products falling apart on me. Pads and backing plates. I switched to other brands and have not had an issue yet.

Yep, those yellow devils should be banned.

I can't say I have had many issues, but every now and then with a pad that has "seen it's time", the backing starts to come apart...and I think primarily due to washing.

I haven't had any issues with the 5" LC pads, but I have had issues with the smaller LC pads. I actually switched over to the cyclo pads. The Velcro backing is double adhered to the pad. I have not had any issues since.

I've had one LC backing plate come apart and Eric was very nice, and got me another one at no cost. As for the LC pads I have never had an issue with them when used correctly. I think some people put too much pressure on the pad, and that can cause a failure, or the pads aren't completely dry before they are being used. A pad that is wet, and may even have some of the cleaner still in it, can get tore up very quickly when used on a DA.

Yeah its the actual backing plate. It was a 3.5 and the larger 5". Kinda sucks cause those are the only plates I have. Just got through painting and already wet sanded al the trash out and now can't buff it out.
