Auto transport companies?

Hi, anyone know of some good auto transport places from east coast to down south? I would like to get an enclosed if I could.

Any help on prices (per say) and good ones you know or anyone as used? Oh, also need more and a car moved

Thanks

The last couple of cars I shipped I used Fedex and have been very pleased. Here are some pictures of Fedex and my last car I had shipped with them.

Here is a link to Fedex car shipping site Passport Transport, enclosed auto transportation

I use Horseless Carriage. Gotta really pin them down about scheduling though, or they'll leave you waiting for a good long time.

There was a thread here maybe a year or so ago where people listed a lot of different carriers they'd had experience with. Probably worth searching for ;)

I've used American Auto Transport a couple of times to ship my vehicle. I didn't ship to those areas, but I understand that they ship all over the country.

I used Horseless Carriage when I moved down here as well. They were good, the vehicles arrived in flawless shape, just wish the communication was a little bit better. I'd shop around. I see Intercity all the time on I95, they might be worth checking out too.

Hello too,

Yeah I have a little idea about that as one of my friend use their service I am giving the link below you can check that.

If I had to do it over again, I'd go with Intercity. I saw lots of positive feedback about it.

If I suggest you then I'll say that national-autoshipping is really good.

You can try them. They deals in all type of shipping.

That's despite your positive experience with Horseless?

Heh heh, with the Crown Vic and the Tahoe I just went with ...uhm...inexpensive options, to put it nicely.

I hear Intercity is even more punctual and better with communication.

I just had my first experience shipping a car, and the one thing I learned was don't use a broker. The company I went with (montway) underbid everyone, but sat on my job for over a week trying to lowball the transport companies. I wound up going with a smaller company for an open transport called willhaulit and they had my car on a truck less than 2 days after I called them.

Well, it wouldn't take much to beat Horseless on that score, but yeah, if the rest of the experience, and the cost, were OK I can see the preference.

I have 1 positive and 2 negative stories connected with car shipping. The only case which finished without any problems was in 2011 within UK borders (I transported Audi A6 from Germany to the UK) with help of TELS if I am not mistaken) My conclusion: choose the company with good name in the country and at least 5 years of experience.
