Auto Spa Dual Sided MF Sale-FYI

I picked up a dozen new MF at Advanced Auto Parts in NY. I went in to purchase a Window thing for reaching into the corners (did not have). They were having a sale on the Yellow/Gray MF towels with the black silky edge. I usually pay about 7 bucks but they were on sale for 4.99 each. They had the aquapel for $2/per but it was gone when I got there!



These are super soft and have washed well. 2 important things if you do buy these.



1. The plastic fasseners that hold the towel to the card will kill your finish. When I get mine I sit at the kitchen table and remove them in a systematic manner so as to get both sides of each 100% out. Then I wash them like I would all new MF to get out any store/shipping grit.



2. There is an auto spa tag on the yellow side I fold over so it never touches the paint. I have been toying with the idea of trying to cut it out but I am afraid if it get to close the towel will lint or unravel and if I dont get the whole thing, it will be a sharper edge.



Overall I love these and 4.99 is a great price for these.
 
Im actually not too fond of the shamrocks. The quality definitely isnt there. The edges are horrible. Feel the corners, theyre like plastic, sharp plastic.



A good alternative is detailers domain Uber "No Name". I think in terms of weight its like 50grams less but theres no sharp edges.
