Auto restoration as a hobby

New member
New old guy here. I restore old Volvo's as a retirement hobby. Current attention on an '81 Bertone Coupe that I found in a hay barn in Athens, TN with 25,187 miles on it. It had been there for 19 years. Took a while to clean up those many years of not running to get it running. Required replacement of the entire fuel system and I do mean the entire system from the tank to the injectors. I was able to save the gas cap.

Got the leather interior finished.

Moving on to the carpet and that is why I signed on to this forum.

What am I going to do about the carpet?
 
Thanks for all the 'welcomes' but can anyone suggest product or products to 'dye' the carpet back to near original?

Done a lot of research on SEM products, RIT Dye, and others without enough experience information to proceed.

Which of the many forums here would be the best to repost this request?
