Auto Pick-up & Delivery Insurance Questions...

I have a friend who has her Expedition picked up at work, then delivered back when done, by a local "detailer" (a subject for another post :) ) and who says I could pick up quite a bit of business by doing this.



My question is, what about the insurance? She says that their (the owner's) insurance will cover the car as I drive it, but I don't want to take chances.



Does anyone have experience in this area? Thanks, y'all!!
 
Take a look at your own insurance policy. I know mine will cover me if I am driving someone else's car.

wow, thats so weird, I was gonna post this same question, and just saw this thread! I would love to hear more responses.

This is what's confusing -- I've heard that the car's policy covers the driver, then my insurance for me driving someone else's. I guess I just need to call State Farm and ask! :) I would be afraid they would cancel me if I filed a claim and they knew it was business related. Then we'd end up in sub-standard insurance land -- a scary place to be! :scared
