Anybody have any experience with this product? If so what do you think?

I'm just a weekend warrior with his new UDM. Don't think I'll ever be as good or dedicated as the pro's here but I'm trying.

Only have my UDM about 2 weeks now and have enjoyed getting good results with it.

I also have a hard time paying some of the prices for some the products that are used here. So thats why I'm interested in AM's products and I can get them somewhat locally. Watched the videos of the "Risk Free" stuff and it looks safe but figured I'd ask the experts.

My vehicles range from scratched to hell and back (92 BMW thats seen the UDM but still needs work) to a 03 thats garaged kept and never seen an auto car wash. So I was thinking of the RF compound and polish and use a sealer (not sure which yet) for the Jawga sun.

I've primarily used OTC products in the past from Mothers, Maguires and currently Liquid glass which for me protects and shines nicely.

Suggestions?

HeadnSouth, PM David Fermani and he can help you out on AM products, i haven't use them in 15 yrs, but will start to look at them soon.

I did but he uses a rotary.

You should be able to get Meguiars 80 series products locally. #83 and #80 work very well with a DA/RO buffer.

I've only used their clay, #49 Body Shine and Wet Wax. All good products but I haven't used any of their polishes or compounds.

i've used their xp compound and syntheticut. they both worked a lot better than i had expected. especially with the ccs pads seemed to give more working time compared to the regular lc pad.

AM products are not bad. Try the new risk free system but switch out the risk free wax against Automagic paint sealant instead.

Good recommendation.

I wish I could have added more insight into HeadnSouth's inquirery about their products, but I've never tried any of their products in a DA application (except for LSPs). I'd hate to recommend something that might not work right. You might want to call (not e-mail) Rick Schmidt @ Auto Magic to see what he thinks. Also, their new Risk Free line is designed specifically for non-rotary (mostly Cyclo) use and I've heard that it's very easy to use and corrects the finish really nice.

Here's te link the Risk Free video:

Hard to beat AM 777 APC at $8 a gallon.

:woot2:

Think I'll place an order on Monday and have them mail it to me. I can't even find Megs 80 or 83 at AZ, NAPA or Orielly's. :hairpull
