Auto Magic Products

I work at a detail shop that uses strictly Automagic. I personally use menzerna, klasse, megs, 4*, and others, visit my site for the "full" list. When I open my shop I will use their cleaners, degreasers, maybe their dressings except for interior, and that would probably be it. Their polishes and waxes are high in fillers and in my opinion, only suitable for low quality, dealership/high volume settings. AKA not suitable for US.

I talked with True about A-M products on Fullsizechevy.com. He told me to email them and find a local distributor. The closest guy is out of Nevada city :ermm:
If you want the guy's number, I can PM it to you. I'd like to try a couple products too, namely their Banana Magic and XP compound, a few other products as well

So the Automagic guy stopped by. He gave me a pint of APC, a pint of carpet shampoo (dillutes 30:1), and a half bar of fine detail clay.
Haven't tried the APC yet. I am disappointed to say that I think their carpet cleaner is better than my Oxiclean mix for general grime and dirt.
I haven't tried the bar yet. It feels exactly like my bar from Japan, except a little stickier, but the rep says it is way better than any other bar. It took me a while for me to get him to admit other companies have the same bar with a different name, but he assured me Claymagic was the best. He recommends using larger chunks than I use, and instead of folding the dirty side in, working the dirt into the clay and re-forming the bar.
I though all clay was equal. Is the rep full of it? Their clay is excpensive: 6.5 oz for $45CAD (about $35USD). Most other brands are cheaper.

No. 49 Body Shine spray works well in conjunction with ClayMagic bar.

Yeah, he said, and 50 is bodyshop safe.
What I'm wondering is if it can really be that much better than anything else.

Wow, $35 for a bar of clay? Thats almost double what i pay down here in florida. You can buy it off the site for 36.50 and that comes with a bottle of body shine. And thats RETAIL! That guy should be selling you the clay for far less then that. I'd be having a chat with the guy if i were you.

What apc did you decide on?

In Canada with exchange & duty, typically you pay 180% of US prices.
I can't remember the APC name, it is red. I'm comparing it with Gulf-Star Magic Mix & Zep Formula 50 to see what I want.
