Auto Magic Products

Just One More Coat
Who's has used any of these products and what results have you had with them? I know that's pretty general but, I'm wondering more about the quality of the manufacture, not any specific product.

I was told that they are used mostly by pro-detailers and wondered what the truth is in that.

I've looked at them on a web sites and most seem to be sold in gallons and larger, that makes me think that they are geared towards bulk detailers and car dealerships.

Thanks!

It's funny, I just got the # for the local distributor to try some things. I'm not convinced they are great because I see the result on the car lots. But they are used all over the place here.

I would like to believe that it is more the talent of the detailer than the product, that produces the results.

If you look at as the product being a tool, the better the tools, the greater the results, but I also believe that a skilled detailer get achieve great results, with using products, that would require more effort.

I personally have not tried any of Automagic's products but would be interested in hearing about not only results but, ease of use.

I have a place that sells thier products in town, and I have tried several of the products that they offer. I was pleased with the wax(FLASH) and tire dressing (DRESS ALL). I would compare the Flash to Meg's NXT, but the Flash last much longer. The Dress All gives a good shine and last about 2 weeks. I wasn't that pleased with the dressing they offer for the interior or their wheel cleaners. Most of the car lots around my town use their products, but that don't make them all professional detailers.

AutoMagic makes some great products. IMO they are not *showcar* Quality. Your average pro detailer is not looking for a showcar finsih either. Their looking for a Good product, A Good price, A Good looking finished product, And most of all a happy cutomer

I use the same products on my personal trucks that i do on my customers and i'm very picky. The experince of the detailer also makes the diffence in the product. I've used just about every product they have out right now and Have been using them for years and i have never been disapointed by them.

If your doing one or two cars a week and your more worried about having a showcar look automagic is not for you. If you are running a large shop or mobile operation I'd look into automagic.

I talked to two of their distributors today, and they had as much charisma as the back side of a postage stamp. We'll see when they come for a visit. "Oh, I don't know, sometime in the next 2-3 weeks."
I asked one of them if the subpar lot results were from the detailers or the products and he said, "both." Can't believe he said that!
Thanx for the testimony True

Thanks for that sales people sometimes don't get it.

TRUE

I agree that its a good detailer that can take a OK product and make it work...its not jsut in the product.

i use alot of Auto Magic products.
I have said it before, I think there are some fine products out there. I really like how easy the UPP is to use.

Magic thanks the tire dressing has my interest at the moment I like bright shinny tires and this one seems to have that....However I'm concerned about sling is all

They have some good tire dressings beemerboy, I too like the shinny look.

You shouldn't be worried about the sling. If you put the right amount on and make sure its dry it won't.

Beemerboy, I've been using the Dress All for about a year now, and I haven't had a problem with sling. No color change neither. Leaves a great shine, and the smell is a plus. I did pick up another supply yesterday and the price has increased from $19 to $22 from last month.

First post on this message board, but i'm not a big fan of there products either. If your looking for some tire dressing, APC, or Car wash soap, I'd say go for it. They are pretty reasonable especially if you can find a local distributor. If you want some inexpensive polishes/waxes/sealants, they carry quite a few. If you plan to order online, I'd go with chemical guys, hi-temp, etc.

Auto Magic and Pro are normally in detail shops. Well. thats their main market. They use to set up franchise type markets...Guy buys a franchise and a delivery truck and services shops in his area.

They still set up distributorships. I tried myself to get set up but the one that serves my area is #3 in the country. You think they would want another one in the same area if its doing so well but they don't.

I'm not to sure but you don't buy the name, they give you the name. I know you have to supply a large enough warehouse and purchase your own trucks.
