I spent some time in NorCal with Bob (AutoConcierge) to help out in detailing some cars. It was a great experience and I got the chance to work on some awesome cars.

Heres the Sharkwerks Porsche PDK we did at Bobs shop

The PDK needed mild correction. We setteled on a 2 step process.

Before LSP Bob needed to do some fine touchup work...

LSP:

CG acrylic glaze w/ flex
JS109 by hand

Bob likes this combo and I am a believer now, the acrylic glaze looks really great when you work it in by machine and the JS makes for a good topper with good protection

Bob broke out the standing strip light to slide into the interior so we could see everything

JS all cured and buffed off followed by a DI water wipedown. Glass was cleaned with DI water and polished with CG wet mirror finish. Tips cleaned with steel wool and trim dressed ith TRV

Sneak peak of the next writeup... I think its a Pontiac Fiero:headbang:

Bob put the car on go jacks and turned it to face out the front. Appropriate signage above the car too:thumb:

Wow! Terrific work, great shop, awesome car! Thanks for posting. Hey, what brand is the truck topper in some of the shots?

Great write up and awesome finish with some great shots to top it off! :drool5:Thanks for sharing it here at TID.

You don't (or atleast I don't) see many green Porsches. Man that thing looks killer, great work, and that most have been the experience of a lifetime to work on all those great cars.

Very sweet!

I really enjoyed my time out in CA, honestly a beautiful place with some great cars to boot. The highlight for me was the drophead coupe, just an overbuilt car on so many levels. However my ride in Alex's (Sharkwerks) 3.9liter GT3 RS was pretty damn fun, and on the verge of sickening....8800rpm shifts all day long:devil:
