Project Double Trouble!​

Client brought in his brand new R8 for some correction and protection. Paint was in decent shape, typical swirls.
I will be doing his brothers ‘twin’ to this vehicle next, hence the name of this job!


The ‘details’:

Adam’s eco wheel cleaner, tire/rubber cleaner, shampoo.
McKee’s 37 iron remover.
Medium clay mitt.
Master blaster to dry.
Scangrip lighting.
DeFelsko PTG.
HF Hercules FR machine, Rupes iBrid.
LC pads.
Griots dynamic duo. FCC and Perfecting.
Optimum panel wipe.
Aquatek Singular coating.
Adam’s graphene tire dressing.
Adam’s glass cleaner/interior detailer.
Metro vacuum.

I didn`t realize they were still making those cars, I see one around here once in a while. Came out beautiful, as always, how was it to drive in the driveway?

I had no idea what those cost so I looked it up, apparently pushing $200K.

Are you applying the Aquatec coating to the exterior plastic trim as well as the clear coated paint?
If so, how do you apply it to and remove it from the egg-crate pattern grill??
Excellent detailing on a rare car. Love the pics of the illuminated dash!! Again, thanks for posting them.
(7:00 PM on Saturday the 10th of February according to the dash in the upper right corner, so yes, I am paying attention to detail)
 
Hi Lonnie! Yes. Everything gets coated. A lot of q tip type applicators. removal is with a MF towel and a wooden/plastic dowel.
